Who are we?

My name is Jacqui, I absolutely love sewing, being crafty and pretty much anything to do with fabric and making something from it.

I am about to retire, so that will give you an idea of my age, I live in Sydney, Australia. I have 2 daughters and 2 grandchildren.

I have been sewing since I was about 12 years old, I designed and made my own clothes for many years, I then worked many years in the clothing business. I even designed and made my own wedding dress. When I had children I made clothes for them.  Through the years I have made numerous Debutante dresses, Bridesmaids dresses, Wedding Dresses, yes I made both my daughters Wedding dresses to their specifications.  I have enjoyed every minute of every garment that I have made.

I came across machine embroidery several years ago now, and I have been making things on and off for family and friends. I really enjoy the creative side of embroidery, designing bits and pieces from towels personalised with the child’s name, to Aprons which I make from scratch, then place a design on them.  I have had many people ask me if I could make one for a gift for a friend. They all make a really great gift for anyone really.

They all make great gifts as you can personalise them to what you want or you can just choose from our range.

My name is Kym, I am a stay at home Mum of 2 beautiful young children. I am Jacqui’s daughter, Mum has taught me pretty much all that I know, she definitely made me the crafty person that I am today. We have often enjoyed times together in the sewing room making something.

However I swayed more towards the knitting side of things than the sewing side. I have been knitting on and off since I was about 10 years old, again Mum taught me to knit and so did my grandmother. I have always enjoyed knitting, I find it very therapeutic. Unfortunately over the years you kind of run out of people to knit for and you can’t possibly knit another thing for yourself.

So here I am knitting for you, I hope that this winter you will have a warm head, neck and hands from one of the products that I have knitted for you. Please just have a browse and I hope that you find something that you like.
